You don’t have to be a trained climber to make your way up a rocky mountain. That’s a lesson you’ll learn as you scramble your way up giant sandstone rock formations in the middle of Jordan’s Wadi Rum desert. The porous texture of the rock is an easy challenge for beginners and the gradual incline of the trail means you won’t need any climbing equipment to take you to the top. You may need to bring an oxygen tank though because the views of the rose coloured desert will definitely take your breath away.
